Our studio uses design, 3D, animation and live action to produce emotive commercials, film visual effects and content for digital mediums. From the photo-real to the strikingly unconventional we have the creative, technical and production capability to make anything imaginable.
We come to life when presented with a brief, script or a notion and the freedom to imagine what it could be. Once we have a picture you love, we work out the best possible way to realise the vision. Sometimes this might see us on a film or photo shoot, painting up imagery, creating our own physics or modelling up what can't be filmed. It will involve experimentation and an intrinsic motivation to unearth a unique voice and that extra few percent. We are always thinking of the possibilities and welcome the challenges of new territory. We aren't defined by a house style, skillset, soft or hardware. Our influences are varied and motivation comes from a burning desire to simply create great work.
Resin was established in 2004 by Director, Grant Lovering and Editor, Lincoln Wogan. The studio has produced work for brands including, Mitsubishi, Bridgestone, Michellin, Yalumba, Jacob's Creek, News Limited, SA Tourism, SA Lotteries, Great Southern Rail and Savings & Loans. We have provided a range of visual effects, design and colour to 6 feature films including Where the Wild Things Are, Rogue and Forbidden Lies.
The studio proudly supports the Adelaide Fringe, Adelaide Festival and AGDA and are members of AADC, AGDA, Business SA and SA Great.
