Forbidden Lies is a feature documentary surrounding Norma Khouri, the best-selling author of Forbidden Love who was exposed as a major literary fake. Her book, which had sold 250,000 copies worldwide, purported to tell of her experiences in Jordan where a friend, Dalia, had been stabbed to death by her father after she had fallen in love with a Christian man. The film makes it's Theatrical Release on 13th September 2007. Visit the official website for the film.

Resin worked with director Anna Broinowski to complete over 40 visual effects shots for the film as well as design the opening film titles.

The above montage is just a selection of the work completed by Resin. Our work involved 3D particle creation of sand and smoke, matte paintings to deconstruct the Hyatt, typography and compositing for the opening title sequence as well as numerous chroma-keys which involved solving complex cross-format issues with the source originating on a variety of formats.
