synopsis.
The brief was simply “everything is not quite what it seems” in this sleepy dockside town. Resin worked with both Director and DOP on the treatment for the opening title sequence. A combination of wide location shots and beautifully shot macro details of textures where shot with rolling focus.
Together with the Director and Film Editor, Resin crafted an elegant and refined treatment for the title sequence. Credits roll in and out of focus with the live action and the film’s title is delivered as a shadow across the curtain being disturbed by the breeze.
The sequence was finished as HD Digital Intermediate and transferred to 35mm.
