Control Freak

synopsis.

Working in-conjunction with Showpony Advertising, Resin faced the improbable task of pulling together a full CG spot in no less than 7 working days. Did we mention it needs a full night-time CG environment (that is wet) and a chrome drift car that transforms into a bad ass Control-Freak?

The environment, car and control-freak were modeled, textured and animated in Maya. Then in compositing volumetric light, camera shake, tire spray from the wet alley, fog, clouds, lightning, motion blur and depth of field were added. A 'sin city-esque' grade completed the picture.
