The brief was to bring artwork of these surreal characters to life and tell the story of enjoying a glass of Yalumba, Talk-Eat-Live-Laugh. Our characters journey takes place in a surreal environment at a variety of scales and dimensions with extensive use of z-space. Each characters brief cameo crosses into the next with playful uses of scale and perspective culminating in the characters joining together to deliver the key message.
Initially intended for Cinema release in Australia, the client adopted the commercial for International usage. The commercial was finished at 2K for a 35mm print. An article featuring the design process of the commercial featured in Desktop magazine.
